The success of Callaghan Hospitality Group has been built on the support of our community, and we are committed to returning that support through meaningful partnerships that create lasting local impact.

The CHG Community Sponsorship Program is our commitment to investing in healthier, more connected communities. By supporting sporting clubs, community organizations and charitable initiatives, we help promote active lifestyles, positive wellbeing and a strong sense of community spirit. Whether through financial assistance, in-kind support or collaborative partnerships, our goal is to help local groups continue doing what they do best—bringing people together, inspiring participation, and creating opportunities for future generations.

Eligibility Criteria

Before submitting your application, please ensure your organisation or initiative meets the following eligibility criteria:

1. Promotes Healthy Lifestyles
   Encourages people to connect with family, friends, nature, recreation and the outdoors while supporting active and healthy living.

2. Demonstrates Inclusion and Diversity
   Provides an inclusive environment that welcomes participation regardless of gender, age, cultural or racial background, religion, ability or sexual orientation.

3. Supports Community Participation and Volunteerism
   Encourages volunteer involvement and creates opportunities for people to actively contribute to their community.

4. Improves Community Wellbeing
   Positively contributes to the physical, mental and emotional health of individuals and the wider community.

5. Builds Community Spirit
   Fosters social connection, participation, community pride and a sense of belonging through positive local engagement.

6. Delivers a Positive Community Impact
   Demonstrates measurable benefits to the local community and aligns with the values of collaboration, sustainability and community development.

Applications that clearly demonstrate alignment with these criteria will be given priority consideration under the CHG Community Sponsorship Program.

What We Don’t Fund

To ensure sponsorship funding is distributed fairly and delivers the greatest benefit to our community, the Callaghan Hospitality Group Community Sponsorship Program does not generally provide funding or support for:

• Retrospective funding requests or reimbursement for expenses already incurred.

• Individual sponsorships, including personal travel, education, competitions or sporting pursuits (unless forming part of a broader community initiative).

• Political parties, political campaigns or organisations promoting political or ideological agendas.

• Organisations or activities that discriminate on the basis of gender, age, race, religion, disability or sexual orientation.

• Commercial businesses or projects intended primarily for private financial gain.

• Requests to reduce debt, cover operating losses or refinance existing liabilities.

• Activities that conflict with Callaghan Hospitality Group’s values or responsible service of alcohol obligations.

• Requests that may bring Callaghan Hospitality Group into disrepute or create reputational or legal risk.

• Organisations that have not met the obligations of a previous sponsorship agreement with Callaghan Hospitality Group.

Application and review process

All sponsorship and funding requests must be submitted using the Callaghan Hospitality Group Community Sponsorship Program Application Form.

Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. Once your completed application has been received, it will be assessed against the program’s eligibility criteria and community impact objectives.

Applicants can expect to receive a response within four (4) weeks of submission. Outcomes will be communicated via phone or email, advising whether the application has been successful.

As part of our partnership approach, Callaghan Hospitality Group seeks to build genuine, long-term relationships with the organisations we support. Where practical, we encourage sponsored clubs, community groups and organisations to support our venues by considering them as the preferred destination for committee meetings, presentations, post-match functions, fundraising events, celebrations and other social gatherings throughout the year.
